I could see the sun shining around the school, people were shaking and looked like they had butterflies in their tames. I could feel my bag while walking past the red gate with a couple of fun friends. The blazing hot shining sun made me sweat super fast and knew that cross county is on. Clap Mr burt was setting up the brown chairs and black lines for the fun event.
The short green grass had brown mud all around them because of the muddy feet. My precious life core was beating faster then a cheater and had butterflies. When the red bell rang everyone got into there home classes and was completing her lift over work. Every single body was getting prepared for the three kilometre run when it was 12 o’clock. They had got into their team colours and had play time and was only 30 minutes.
Ring ring ring everybody lined up in their classrooms and I got ready to head to the gray court. Green as the world, yellow as the sun, blue as water and red as blood is the theme of the colors. They had all of the different kind of colours everywhere around the netball court. Mr Burt took the years 1’s and had his helpful assistants to guide them in and out. The caretakers were watching the kids run and was cheering them on.
It’s our turn and we go before the year 8’s and 6’s because both year 7 and 8 do 2 laps around the Pt england reserve. We all lined up on the dark black line and got ready to run Mr burt said “on your marks get set go.” We had all taken off and we started to go towards the gate. It had taken a long time to do our first lap and when we past the first we went over again. After our 2nd lap then we all found out what place we had came and I ended up 9th place.

searching for survives.
Silicon Valley
Brainstorm:
Who: Saia and Gabriel
What: Two people from TC have been selected to go somewhere
Where: At California
When: In the term two holidays
Writing: People from around New Zealand got selected to go to America and see all the different kind of company. There were two college boys that got selected from tamaki college to go see all of the famous companies at America. There names were Saia and Gabriel they got a chance to go see all of the company like Google. They traveled from New Zealand to California in the term two holidays.
If I got selected to go and see my favorite company I would want to got to microsoft. It would have to be Microsoft because of all the technology and what they have created. Microsoft is the best company that makes technology and is the first company to make the first ever computer. I would go to Microsoft because I love to game and that's why I would go to Microsoft.
They had told us about their trip in the holidays and how it went and they showed some photos. They had visited some places that I haven't seen or held about before and I was a chance to learn about the company's. The most place I would be insteaded is Xero a company that I haven’t held of and that really got me thinking why X then Z.
The place I know the most is got to be Google, Facebook, Microsoft and heaps more. Google is the company that I know the most I can see it most of the time when i’m on my device. Google is the biggest company in the world they are known for all the creative things that they have done. People from around the world know these company and are using all the things that they make.
There were 8 students selected from New Zealand to go to California and they needed to write a letter why they want to go. Saia and Gabriel were some lucky teenagers to get selected because a lot of people write a note as well but didn’t make it.
Triathlete Sam
The story that I read is where I got my answers and the story is called Triathlete
Sam. And Sam is doing the triathlon and you have to do swimming, cycling and
running.
Sleep
Writing: This explanation is going to outline the process of sleep. The process of sleep is a cycle where our bodies our minds regenerate recover process information function to the best of our ability.
When you sleep the brain regenerates or recharges, your cells repair themselves and your body releases important hormones. If your sleep less than 7.8 there's a high chance of having probleming and may die. It takes 2 weeks if you don’t have any food to die but when you don’t sleep for 10 days you may die.
Do you know why little kids get put into bed early? When kids wake up they don’t remeber 50 persent of their dreams and within 10 minutes they forget 90 percent of them. Adults can sleep for 8 hours and there brains will still fraction while and if a adult sleeps 6 hours it can make them drunk drinking nothing. People can still see images in there heads when they see black with your eyes opened.
Sleeping make you tall when you sleep its called growth spirt and when you sleep you grow. Boy can grow when they are 15 to 18 and girls can grow from age 12 to 16. They can also do early growth sprit that make them tall when they are just 7 and more.
Sleeping is all about resting your body, mind, health and many more thing in your body. Sleep is one of the most things that you need for you life but if you don’t sleep there will be problems.

Yellow means important!
Our Muscles are very Important for our body because they help move our parts. There are more than 600 muscles in a human's body. Without Muscles we can out walk, talk, smile, jump and run. Our Muscle System is made out of tissue’s that helps our body parts to move. There are three kind of muscles in our bodies that help first there is the smooth muscles, Cardiac Muscles and Skeletal Muscles. Without our muscle we would be like jellyfish or like an octopus.
Our Muscle System is made out of tissue’s that helps our body parts to move. Muscles are a body tissue that can contract and produce movements. If your muscles get tired that means it is Muscle Fatigue. Our Muscles live in our body and it’s a good thing. Our muscles use strength and power.
If you want to beat Muscle Fatigue that means you can exercise, relax and stretch. when you smile to other people you use 15 muscles to smile and if you frown you use 40 muscles. When your are walking you use up to 400 muscles in your body while using your legs. And you need to stretch⇐. All of us has over 300 muscles in our body. THAT’S CRAZY RIGHT!.
So even if some looks so muscular they still have the same amount of muscles. Cardiac muscles are like your heart. The Heart muscle is also called myocardium. The smooth or Involuntary muscle is around your stomach it's like a layer around the stomach that protects it. When a person needs to throw up the smooth muscle helps push the yuck things out of your body and makes you throw up.
Your muscles are very special for your body and its helps outs with all the things in the body. Muscles are one of the special things that we need to keep ourselves alive and well.

HIwi the Kiwi
Mark the founder of Hiwi the Kiwi and his gorgeous wife Chrissy had traveled to Auckland to come see us. Mark and Chrissy travel around New Zealand explaining why we need to be water safety. Hiwi the Kiwi announced that they would be teaching us why we need to keep our areas safe and clean. They had told a lot of schools interesting things about fishing and keeping it clean.
Hiwi the Kiwi are very well known to a origination of New Zealand school children around the New Zealand. With their road show having toured greatly, captivating and uplifting almost tens thousands of children over the past 8 to 10 years. Mark and Chrissy have been married for more than thirty years and have a great relationship. They are very passion about singing and even create their own songs then sing them.
They had sang a song when we were entering the hall and they had told as there names. Most of us found out a lot of interesting things about their lives and what they do around New Zealand school’s. They started another song and they started to make the guitar sounds faster and faster each time. They had started to sing when it got to the max level and his wife showed the moves.
Mark sang a song named save our seabirds or other words S.O.S. Chrissy had taken care of the dance move’s and showed as what to do when Mark sing the song. Some of the parts were very hilarious and also made us laugh while singing. If the bird can’t reach it give yourself a tick cause if the berk birds dives was some of the words. Also or get quite cross wanna catch a snapper on a albatross keep the boat tidy keep the boat clean was also included.`
Mark had advise us to always keep our birds safe by not construction a sea with litter in it. A sea of litter can end up killing more than five hundred fish and birds every year. Seabirds don’t really bother about what is below them and they just dive down and gobble up the scrap. When you are catching fish always have something like a water gun to frighten them. Because if the birds plunge down and take the fish on the hook they will end up getting hooked.
Kaimoana fish for the future was one of the songs that Mark sing to us when we were learning. He had told us that if we catch the big ones to put them back to breed more of fish. If you want to have a fish you must have a ruler to measure it so you can see how long it is. If you catch a small fish you must put it back so it can grow. If you have a perfect size fish use a wet towel to pick it up and put it in bucket with sea ice. After you get home put it in a bucket of seawater so it can be more fresher.
Kaimoana fish from the sea, Kaimoana to feed your family, fish for the future, and there will always be Kaimoana for you and me.
Mark was told us about water safe’s biggest problem that happens every year. People can end up dead if they don’t wear a life jacket because Mark told us a story. The story had 3 men that were speeding down the river and didn’t notice a big piece of log in the water. They had no life jackets on to wear and boom they had gone flying in the air. The men were great swimmers but unfortunately they didn’t make it and they ended up drowning.
Sadly they had to leave because it was almost morning tea and we the year 7 needed to go tech. Mark and Chrissy said their good bye’s and we left to class and got ready for tech. I had a great time watching hiwi the kiwi and getting a poster with a huge sticker for answering one of the questions.
Hiwi, Mark and Chrissy are people that show how to make kindness go viral around the New Zealand. They also taught us about hiwi the kiwi goes fishing and teaches us what is happening to our seas.

Olympic Writing
Writing: The Olympic games are a competition where top athletes compete for their country or nation. Only the top athletes from countries around the world qualify to represent their country. This explanation is going to explain how the Olympics came to be and they changed over time. Back in the Olympics it was all about the gods but now it is all about the sports in the Olympics.
Back when the first Olympics come to be men played the Olympic games naked. Woman were not allowed to watch or play the Olympic sports but now woman can play. The sports they played were Boxing, Chariot Racing and a Foot Race with people wearing a full suit of amour. For the first 13 games the Olympics only did the 200 dash
This year's Olympic games are held at Rio Brazil this year and the Olympic games have just started. The first sport that they had started with was the women's 200 metre sprints. The Olympics games are only to represent your community or nation that's it. People in the Olympic try to cheat and take drugs to make them way better in the sport they are doing. Athletes mostly from Russia take drugs and try cheat the Olympics that's why people don’t let Russian people compete.
If your are competing in the Olympic games you get tested if you had takin drags and make you pee into a small contina. The people that are testing you have to watch you pee because that check if that are peeing or not. For the men you have to pull up your sleeves and show the testers so that know you got no small poll going down your arm. People that have that and the tested don’t see they can use it to fake there pee and go into the Olympics with drugs.
We are going to study everything about the Olympics sports back in the days and now. We are going to learn about all the Olympics sports and watch the Olympic on T.V.
