What 3 ingredients are needed for rust to occur.

Write a brief paragraph explaining the rusting process (why rusting occurs)
The Rusting process is created by The iron surface of the nail reacts with the oxygen mixed in the water it forms iron oxide and Iron oxide reacts with the water It forms hydrated iron oxide –the red stuff we call “rust”.

How could you prevent something from rusting?
You can paint it with any kind of paint that you have or buy
You can put oil on it to prevent it from rusting
You can also spray on wax to prevent it from also rusting and keep it out of the water out of oxygen if you can and salt so it doesn't rust again

Did you know that rust can eat steel and rust is also stronger than steel but can crumble if you touch it .And also do you know that rust comes from water that hits the steel it start’s to rust. We learnt from this experiment that oxygen and h2o water can make rust but if you put h2o water with Nacl it will rust better than oxygen and h2o

Matter is: Weight, Space)-(Weight is something that is heavy)-(Space is something that is a filled with nothing. Three states of matter are: Solids, Liquids & Gases)-(Solids is something hard like a rock)( Liquids are something that is watery or slimy like a egg)( Gases is something that you can’t see for example oxygen.
Air is matter because when you blow up a balloon it can’t fit into a small box because it takes up more space than the box. Weight - a blown up balloon weighs more than one with no air in it. Matter can be anything hard, soft, any colour, any texture or even invisible. People think mass and weight are the same. In space the weight is a lot lighter. Atoms are hard to see and you need a microscope)( if you cut one piece of salt again, again, again and it can end up being a atom)( If you put the atoms together it can end out being a molecules and a molecule is bigger.
Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. All matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms. Atoms can be broken down into even smaller building blocks called neutrons.
Every Galaxy, Star and Planet in the universe is made of matter. Atoms tend to stick together and form groups with other atoms.

My Science Experiment
Title -
Purpose: What do you want to learn/find out?
What would happen if we put baking soda in vinegar?

Hypothesis: Try to predict the answer to the problem. Another term for hypothesis is ‘educated guess’. This is usually stated like ” If I…(do something) then…(this will occur)
If I put vinegar with baking soda something is going to happen and I think it might fizz?

Materials: List everything you will need to conduct your experiment.
I will be using baking soda, vinegar and cups
|
Experiment procedure: The fun part! Design a test or procedure to confirm or disprove your hypothesis. Write down each step so that someone else could do the same experiment.
1. Pour as much vinegar as you want into four cups
2. Then get you baking soda you can have different kinds of colours if you want
3. Then pour one cup at a time into different colours and it will fizz
4. You can end up with amazing colours and that is the experiment

Analysis/Data: Record what happened during the experiment.
When we were doing the experiment me and my mates got four small cups. They were filled with vinegar, we got baking soda and it was different kind of colours. We had put one cup at a time and it look amazing. The colours were fizzing and the we had put it all into one big cup and it made a green colour.

Conclusion:Review the data and check to see if your hypothesis was correct.
I was right. If you put vinegar into baking soda it would change into a colour that is fizzing.

Science
This is my science presentation that I have done with Josh and Chris. We are
experimenting on burgers because we found out that a cheeseburger from MC
Donalds have looked the same for 14 year. How amazing is that! So we did
burgers and we trying to see if the burgers will rot is stay the same.

The Science Experiments + Cooking
The Science Experiments + Cooking
Ch ch ch ch CHANGES
Ch ch ch ch CHANGES our last term!!! The terms theme is all about science and cooking and these are well known to many people. If you don’t know what science is? Science is something that very brainy people try out new things and find out extremely hard things. Everyone knows what cooking is if not cooking is when adults make food and that is called cooking.
Team 1 started off first. Team one’s teachers had came out of the sides and were witches and they had different kind of cooking ingredients. They were flying around the pot on their brooms and putting ingredients every time they passed and we didn’t know what was going to happen. They had stopped and had taking the pot and had put it into a home-made oven and was wondering what was going to happen? They had put it in and they had ended up making a cake!!!
Team 2 was up next. They tested out what can float in the water and they were testing a lot of things and were throwing them into the pool. They did one out a time and saw what can float and what can sink down to the bottom of the pool. After that they went inside and were in the kitchen showing what was solid and liquid. They were using egg as the liquid and ice as solid.
Then after team 2 it was team 3. Team 3 were doing science experiments and the teachers were acting as rashin scientists. They were doing a lot of different experiments and in the video they were using dish washing liquid in a lot of the experiments. Some of them were already well known to a lot of people at school like the coke and mentos one. A lot of them we ones that people didn’t know and were colourful in most of them and mr blake was acting as the rashin scientists.
I was looking forward for team 4’s video!!! They were doing science too! They were doing a TV show called Mythbusters. The Mythbusters are two people that test out old things and new things and test it out to show if it's confirmed or busted. Mr Somerville and Mr Goodwin were acting as the Mythbusters and trying out funny things at school. One made me laugh!!! They had did: Do lollies help kids learn and david ended up shaking on the table.LOL
I couldn't wait for our team's theme because the teachers had a choice to do cooking or science for this term's topic. The choices that they had to make were both great choices for the kids because they are well known. Mr Wiseman the science nerd and his salve tried or tested different experiments on each teacher. Mrs Tele’a, Miss Berry and Miss Clark were the people getting tested on and they all had funny ones.
This is term is going to be fun and i’m thinking was a great ending for 2016 because there is a lot to this is term. This is probably the best term that I have had out of all the terms that I have gone throw from year 1.

Squad Goalz
This is my group that is called Squad Goals with a z and we this is a presentation
about what sport we have chosen. The names under our name is the people who
helped do all the work and put on link and videos. Our sport that we have done
is soccer. Soccer is a very popular sport that people go to watch and they only
just kick the ball and have to get it in the goal past the goalkeeper.
If you can see the first slide is our link and video slide and you can go and see
what kind of links and videos we put on. The links show information about the
history of soccer and how it was created. If you picked to watch the videos
you can see a lot of famous soccer players on them.
The next one is about what food or diet that have daily because people don't
even know what does a soccer player eat. Well soccer players like to eat a
lot of fruits and vegetables because it can make them fast and can make them
travel up to 5 kilometre a half. Bale the fastest a right wing and the worlds
fastest soccer player eats a lot of fruit and vegetables.
The equipment they use are very helpful and can keep them safe from getting
hurt. There are some more slides that you need to go look at because that
have a lot of information about soccer. When your done I hope you like what
me and my team or group Squad goalz have done.
