My Easter writing

Spring is here and I am loving it. Seattle  has been a shockingly warm and sunny place this week. Everything is blooming and the birds are chirping. Which means that Easter is coming soon. I never understand how they decide on the date for Easter, but this year it is on Sunday, March 27. Ah Easter what a wonderful holiday, also known as Resurrection Sunday, marks the highpoint of the Christian year. Easter is the Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus, but the seasonal chocolate eggs and the bunny who delivers them are nowhere to be found in scripture. Some people have been wondering is Easter a Christian holiday of the resurrection of Jesus, or a bunny that hides Easter eggs.
