We have been reading about a boy who lives in Qui Nhon. His father is a fisherman and they own a basket boat called a thung chai.
A thung chai can be used to fish, take ferry passengers and practice rowing

Hot summer day
My feet were so hot that I need to get in a pool. Then I felt that I was in hell. It was burning and it was driving me crazy. So I went home and had a cool shower.
